I have written about this guy before, He will be the first non Arab leader of a country with 80% Arab population in it. He is a Kurdish man who speaks Persian as well and he will symbolize the new Iraq. Electing him as the new President of Iraq will have implications for Iranian government as well, The happy and cheering Kurdish people of Iran celebrated this historic victory in the streets of Mahabad and other Kurdish cities in Iran is a sign. Of course the police was sent in to disrupt it as they always do, but the government can no longer ignore the legitimate wishes of this oppressed ethnic minority of Iranians who demand their basic rights just like the rest of Iranians do. Former minister of culture emphesized on it in this Persian article today. The most fun part was when I heard Sadaam was watching this on TV from his cell.
